Corvette 20 minute time limit-intense anxiety

The more I read about this the more problems I see could happen.
I certainly do not want to brick my car.
The "run" position lasts for 20 minutes. If the download and upload takes longer for what ever reason then you are screwed.
How long does it normally take to back up and load a 93 octane tune?
Does the run position work if you press the start button without you foot on the clutch?

we've never, ever, had a customer run into this problem....20 minutes is a long time.

Mikel is telling you the truth i tuned my 2009 corvette with my old predator that tool was much slower than the intune and it
NEVER TOOK LONGER THAN 6 minutes to tune my car. the intune is a much faster tool. i have tuned my 2012 camaro in under
4 minutes with the intune.Dude no worries just hook up and tune!!!!!!!!
