I have a just purchased a Diablo Trinity for my 2012 Chevy Silverado 5.3. I updated the firmware to 1r09f. Following the directions I flashed the 87 octane tune. The unit made a backup copy of my original PCM file, then flashed the 87 tune. The vehicle starts and runs fine. I tried to go back to stock, and selected restore original tune. I followed the prompts. The unit begins to restore the original, then the screen goes black, and the red lights on the unit cycle, and it comes back to the home screen without restoring my original back up. Any ideas what i should do. If i check show last tune, it shows the 87 octane.

Re: Need help restoring Original backup
Update, I unplugged the unit from the truck, downloaded copies of my saved tunes to my PC, I put it back in the truck and tried to restore the original again. This time it worked fine, restored the tune, and unmarried itself from the PCM. So all is well. I think where I went wrong was I had the key on when I started, and should have started with the key off, then turned it on when prompted.
