FWD 3.6 Pentastars

Post by jagsfan84 »

I know you guys are doing tuning work for the 3.6 in the Wrangler, are there any plans to do the FWD 3.6L in the 200/Avenger? I am up in Jacksonville and have a 2011 200 S.

Thanks,

Nick

Well let me know if you need a car the 200 and Avenger are the exact same powertrain wise, I can drop my car off as long as you need it.

Any updates on this? There are a lot of us Avenger/200 owners that are modding our cars yet many of the big companies seem to push us away (with the exceptions being Mopar, Corsa, Magnaflow, H&R, and Billet Technology). It would be nice to see you step up to the plate!

Edit: Oh and K&N... they should have their CAI out soon as they used a member's Avenger from one of the forums I belong to for testing and completed a CAI kit for the 3.6L.

I'm with the others, Since I ditched my Turbo Dart due to issues...
I picked up an RT Avenger...
This thing is quick, but WOT needs to be improved as at 85% throttle the car pulls harder. This is also a flex fuel car which can also help with power potential as you can run high octane E85. My supercharged Neon runs E85 and gets 32mpg and makes 300hp, I'm assuming you should be able to break this as the 3.6 runs high compression already making 283hp stock while the Charger and Challenger are running 305hp with the same engine...

I agree too! I have a 2013 Grand Caravan RT and it is much faster at 65-80% throttle than it is at wide open throttle. And they should be able to grab at least 20hp more out of these things, the Challenger already makes 300. There is going to be so many FWD Mopars with this powertrain in it, don't leave us out in the cold :punisher: :punisher:

Thanks!

I have a brand new 2014 JKU Sahara, it will be delivered this week.
The mods that I want to do are:
2.5 lift kit
K&N Cold Air Intake
Replace the stock Wheels (5) for wider ones 18x9 from Mamba M1X, keep the same tires until they get bad.
Let me know if I can help in anyway.
