Corrupt Backup File

Post by pjmcmorrow »

So, I hope someone can help me here.......2009 Chevy Tahoe LTZ 5.3L.........

I ordered my Trinity on Friday and it arrived on Saturday. Like a kid at Christmas I opened it and plugged it right in. I had some issues with the computer I was trying to pair it up with so I disconnected it and moved on to the Truck. I plugged it in and followed the step by step directions and hit performance. I selected the Diablo Tune and it installed it, to my knowledge. It also saved my original. A few hours later I tried to put my original back on and switch to another or see if I really was feeling the difference and I received an error code saying corrupt backup file....And this cancel and keeps the Diablo from doing anything to my car.

I came home and set everything up on my computer properly and plugged in my unit and when I clicked upload tune it showed there was an original file on the unit.

How do I get the Diablo Tune off my car, mostly so I can update the original back to my car so I can do an update the the Diablo unit I have...How do I prevent this from happening again. To be honest it is my first tuner and I am kind of freaking out wondering if I damaged my car here

please give us a call with the tool powered up in the truck and we'll get it to restore.

in the meantime, if you can hook up to dsdl and export a copy of the tcm backup, we can get it added for you in the next update.

Thanks
