C6 Vette

Post by dak47 »

Hey All,
Just starting my tuner search... Got myself a 2012 C6, Borla Type II cat back and a Halltech Super Bee. Thinking the Trinity might be the best bet for tuning, because if its gonna be like my bikes, the mods or combo of mods never ends.
Is it similar to the TTS on my bikes, where you can data log and then go after individual cells or a canned map only proposition? Didn't have a lot of time to read, as stuck out in the oil fields for a few more days...

Thanks

yes you can record data logs and can make adjustments to the preset canned tunes... but no - you can't adjust things in individual cells via the tool... the tool adjustments you would be able to make for fueling, timing, etc are in percentages, and the change gets made to certain rpm ranges, like for just an example (not the actual rpm ranges that are in the tool) 2000 - 3800 rpm, 4000-4800 rpm, 5000-6500 rpm... so you would adjust the timing or fueling by a percentage in whichever rpm range you needed or wanted to...

to get much more precise adjustments made, you'd need to get a custom tune done for the vehicle by a diablosport CMR custom tuner (like myself) that has diablo's CMR tuning software - then things can be adjusted/tweaked cell by cell based on log data ;)
