I'm going to stick with you guys and see how this ends. This is my third Predator, had 2 for diesels before this, and I've had more than my share of problems - but I want to say this: for me, the performance gains have been worth the hassle. IMO, for the average non-technical guy, the problems are too much. The U7194 has been spectacularly troublesome for my 2007 6.0 Avalanche. It's running fine with version 10 and if you guys can get the tranny adjustments included and the short logging time extended a bit, all will be forgiven. I hope you guys keep working on it, I'm thinking it will be worth the wait.

I am in the same boat, thought I would be able to adjust more parameters with this unit on my 07 Yukon. TM was a biggie for me. I guess I should have been more careful when reading about it, but it was pretty unclear on which parameters my predator had to adjust. Oh well, I guess I will just be waiting around like everyone else for the new update.

Again, please keep in mind that TM is REDUCED in the tunes.
Some of you guys that think you want it turned completely off would not be happy when you were at the dealer in less than a year for a new tranny!

- Point noted and appreciated
- Personally, I don't want to completely turn TM off, just want the tranny parameter control of pre '07 tuners
-- and if i did screw it up I'm perfectly willing to deal with the consequences
- still didn't get an answer to my earlier question(s) will the U7194 in its current configuration allow me to independently set part throttle shift points and firmness? I would suppose the answer is no and those factors are currently managed to some extent through the tunes, but I would like to know for sure.

Thanks

Yeah,I probably wouldn't want to turn it off anyway, it's more about being able to grab it by the throat and control it any way I want. Any comment about the short logging times? Going to be able to fix that?

thanks!

Is the short logging times a hardware issue, or is it something you guys can fix?

As I understand it, it is hardware related.
We have looked into moving some things around to make more room for log storage, yet to be seen if it will work.

Thanks

Dont mean to bring up an old post... but come on Don, dont you have anything better to do than to flash your E-Balls?

Be a smart consumer and do your research before you buy a product, just because the original poster did not, doesnt mean that this company is trying to fool or mislead people... c'mon.
