2011 Dodge Ram 4x4 5.7L Hemi
v.1r09b
Just restored stock tune to update tool.
Curious because I'm looking on the Updates page for the Trinity T1000.
I see two files:
1) trinity-1r09.crom 11-02-2012 1r09
2) trinity_dcx_gas-1r09b_update.crom 11-02-2012 1r09b
They both say 11/02/12 is the last update, BUT...so long as I plug my Trinity into the usb and connect it, open DSDownloader, and click Update Tool... I'll be up-to-date?
Lastly...
What steps am I supposed to follow if I walk over to my buddy's Ford and modify his PCM? Am I supposed to go back to my truck and install the stock tune, and then I select a different vehicle and pair to his truck and tune it? I see this being multiple steps and checks and balances, just need clarification.
More than one vehicle to tune...

if the tool is registered, it will auto update, no need to download anything...
yes, restore vehicle a to stock, tune vehicle b, then restore vehicle b and you can retune vehicle a.
Thanks

Gotcha. It's what made sense. Thanks for the quick answer!
