Issue with DSDownloader in Trinity

I recently purchased a used trinity, in anticipation of the release for my 2012 JCG hemi, that is unmarried and in original backup. I also got both cables and DS cd. I downloaded the software on my computer, but I am having trouble updating the DS Donwloader. It will get to 3/4 the way and an error message will pop up saying file 5 not deleted-access denied. Any clue as to how go about fixing this issue?

You aren't in Administrator Mode. You need to run it in Administrator mode or it won't work. Also don't use the version on the CD, use the new version which is downloadable from DS's main site. http://www.diablosport.com/CMR/software ... .2.2.6.exe

Ok cool,

A) How to I run it as an administrator??
B) I also tried downloading from the website, data logger and drivers I had no problem with just the downloader

Right click the file, go to properties. Find the Compatibility Tab. On the bottom you'll see Privledge Level and Run as an Administrator. Check the box and hit Okay or Apply.

what version of ds downloader are you running? and did the software ever ask you to register or anything like that. ?

Tool says it was born on 10/23/2011, but I'm not sure what version it is running. And no it didn't. I have the instruction paper which states that after the downloader loads up then I will be asked to register. I can't get the downloader to fully load in my computer.
