Tune Revisions - What are you doing?

Tune Revisions - What are you doing?
I would like to start out by saying that I want to thank you guys at DS for listening to us & implementing changes to the tunes to fix some of the early issues being posted up here.
The way you guys are managing the latest tune revisions is very confusing.
a couple weeks back, "trinity_dcx_gas-1r09b_update.crom" was posted & then replaced with "trinity_dcx_gas-1r09c_update.crom".
That revision was put up & taken down down several times with the latest update date changing each time.
Now it is back to trinity_dcx_gas-1r09b_update.crom with a latest update date on 11/20.
Example - Does the revision "trinity_dcx_gas-1r09b_update.crom" with the latest revision date, include the changes that were implemented in "trinity_dcx_gas-1r09c_update.crom", or would I be going backward if I installed it now.
Are you guys afraid of running out of revision letters or something (or would high revision letters make it look like you released a tune too early)?
Why make changes without changing the rev letter?
Do you list somewhere what the change history details are?
Your current practice is not standard software revision management & is very confusing.

It's back to 'b'? It was 1r09d yesterday.

Whats changed in the new revision?
Re: Tune Revisions - What are you doing?
I had this question too, I don't want to download the change if it doesn't have anything useful to me in it. Doesn't seem it would be too difficult to create a revision history page somewhere.

I agree, it would be very nice to be able to see what possible fixes, updates, etc... are included. New features, removed features, known bugs, etc.... for every revision. A simple ChangeLog type of page.sizzle06 wrote:Whats changed in the new revision?
Thats actually why I came to the site tonight. I wanted to see if there was any mention of what had changed since someone I know mentioned 'D' was available.

Even more cryptic is there was a 109d Nov. 20. Now there is a 109d Nov. 21.
I won't whine, and I'll take what I can get. Thanks DiabloSport.

mine is still on the stock tune.
i also never seen a shift firmness option, just shift points.
how high did you up your throttle?
Re: Tune Revisions - What are you doing?
I also have never seen a shift firmness (would be nice if it was there though), just shift points as you mentioned.
I have added 20% to the throttle sensitivity, any more makes it to sensitive for me in city driving.

Re: Tune Revisions - What are you doing?
Why are so many people having problems with there Trinity tune for the 11+ hemi vehicles? I feel lucky that so far I haven't had some of the horrible things happen to me when loading a tune. I wonder why some people are having issues but some are not? Has there been an answer explaining the reason why from Diablo. I am afraid to turn my vehicle back to stock and wait for everything to run smoothly.
Re: Tune Revisions - What are you doing?
well thats good for you.
i have had the 2 issues that have plagued some people here. i thought it was all over when they updated the corrupt c file.
first time i had ignition but car would die... but able to access pcm etc. 2nd time... car no ignition and funny messages on the display with flashing red light and trinity wont even acknowledge the pcm .... and keeps telling me to turn the car on??????????? when it is on!!!!!?
i have not been able to get diablo over the holiday season... so hoping they reopen monday and can fix this over the phone.

Re: Tune Revisions - What are you doing?
Since the "D" tune revision was released (by mistake) without the fix for the transmission shifting which was incorporated in the "C" revision, again points to the need to have a revision change log.
It would be very nice to see what the changes to the latest revision are, so you can make an informed decision on weather or not you want to replace your current tune for the new release.
I would hope that you guys have an internal change log & are modifying it as you make changes to avoid forgetting to incorporate changes already fixed when rolling revisions.
I know when I purchased my Predator in '07 for the SRT8 Charger you guys used to post what the changes were on each released revision....Why have you stopped doing this, it is very helpful?
