PCM sent in and restored.. Something not right???

Post by SRTGR8T »

I sent in my PCM because my car had shut down for the second time, so the guys at diablo wanted me to send them my PCM so they could reflash it, (I guess) and I promptly recieved it back, restored and in a timely manner, put it in and vrooooom, my car was up and running again, my concern is, I was told it was reset to factory settings but I'm sure the car is faster even without a tune installed, plus my shifting is more aggressive (shifting at higher than normal Rpms) I'm probably the only guy to complain that his car is faster but my concern is if I go to the dealer is there something different with the PCM (if there is something different) now without a tune installed a get a lot of hesitation when going WOT (wide open throttle) between shifts especially in sport mode, never had this prior, that's why I know something's not the same, I attached my trinity and went to quick adjust and made the transmission shift points "stock" it didn't change, wondering if diablo put the dodge charger srt8 factory PCM tune in my PCM instead of the Chrysler 300 srt8 tune, not sure if it would make a difference but something is not the same. Mike @ diablo, help sent an email to you but never got a response.
