I post my VIN everywhere. Who cares? Its not like you can get any info about anything but the car.

yeah....thats what Im wondering.

Johan and I use google to get VINs, so for example, when the 13 trucks hit the streets, we google '13 GM truck VIN', and you get listings from just about every 2013 truck with the VIN thats sitting on any dealers lots.

That allows us to download the stock files to a PCM, read them out with a tool, and add support for them ;)

The reason why is because of the fact that GM dealership in this country keep monitoring those forums.

The last thing I want is to void my warranty because of this!

I hope this clear the picture.

And since it has been quite a while, let me update my Trinity and if all else fails, I will send you the details in email.

Just did the upgrade.
Same problem "extra data".
There is no extra data.
There is no custom tune.
Device is unmarried.
Next; I will send you the VIN number and original tunes via email.
