So now DS is coming out with a 2nd Gen Tune for the InTune..

Post by Bullish »

So now I hear the a tune for the 2nd Gen will be made available for the InTune programmer in mid Jan
Excuse me for being a little negative here.. But isn't that a kick in the balls for those that jump on the trinity and are still having problems loading a correct tune that actually works without any errors. .. :normal: I hope that a 100% working tune for the Trinity is available soon. Lesson learned.. Don't be the first to jump..

what problems are you referring to specifically?

if its the -18 when doing QA changes while loading a tune the fix is simple, make the QA changes from the QA menu after you load the tune....this is being addressed and will be fixed.

quick adjust.

If you go to quick adjust and make the changes, it should work fine...

I was able to manged to adjust not only my shift pts but my Throttle Boost as well.
MAN O MAN O MAN.. WOW.... what a difference.. I will be on vacation till Jan 2nd.. So when I return home on 12/31 I will upload the new F version this way I can adjust parameters via Tune menu and not via Quick Adjust. Thank you for all you do DS..

im also confused why it would make a difference between using the tune menu and quick adjust? does it not still lead to rewriting the tune anyway?

I guess bottom line it doesn't matter how you get there as long as you get there correct?? But still I wonder why I can not adjust my shift pts via the regular adjust menu.. Makes me wonder where else I am falling short on with my Trinity when it comes to what it can do..

Anyway...

I download the F tune today.. And my minor issues were not resolved.. I still have to go to Quick Adjust to raise my shift pts.. and my Stock time vs Tune time isn't anything to write home about

Sorry for being negative but for now The Trinity will just be a displayed object in my car for shows until a custom Tune becomes available.
