Trouble changing tire size.

Mods,

My Christmas Present to myself was the Trinity and I have successfully installed the 93 Octane Performance Tune to my 2011 Ram 5.7 Hemi Outdoorsman Edition. The performance increase is very noticeable, and it's still pulling hard through 100MPH (when I saw the cops on the other side of the road). My next upgrade is going to have to be an integrated radar detector (stupid VA laws) or I'm going to be getting tickets like crazy.

I am having a little trouble updating my tire size. I am running 295/70/17s, and I'm pretty sure the stock tune is for like 250s. I've followed the screen prompts, and doing the series of key off/on's, but it come back every time (like 15 attempts at this point) and says "tire size failed to update".

Any help that you (or a member who has already skinned this cat) can provide would be a big help.

I had the same issue with my 2012. Turns out it was updating it but still saying update failed
Use gps and see where your speedo is setting. I bet its the same issue. Mine is within 2mph of my gps even after saying update failed. It was 7 off with 35s compared to stock

Thanks Matt, I'll give that a shot. Mine was off about 5-7 at highway speeds, so it will be easy to tell.

The speedometer is now correct when compared to GPS, so the update worked even though the Trinity claims otherwise. Thanks for letting me know.
