Here I am again. Toyota expects to sell approx 200,000 Tundra units a year. I dont know how many will have the 5.7L V8 but I can see in the forums I visit that that most have that engine configuration. Now, the people that buy these units will either want better mileage, more power for towing (or playing), and I know that most have or will install larger tires, so a speedo or tire size recalibration will be needed. Ive been searching the web quite a bit and all I have come up with is Hypertech's Speedo Recalibration unit. I know this engine wont be an easy retune but you guys have to come up with something soon or at least indicate that something is in the works, because I shouldnt have to tell you that the first one to bring to market an easy and reliable unit will corner that market.

Still waiting to hear.

Again, this is an application we would like to cover.
We have been looking into it, and I think we may even have some backing from a certain division of Toyota. Keep an eye out for updates on new products in 08.

Thanks

nothing like cross-posting in multiple threads, huh??

yeah dude, they're still workin on updating current tools and apps, never mind brand new development for something that they dont' have access to yet (the pcm/ecm, not the truck itself, I know they have one of those)...

you have noticed they don't have anything for ANY foreign vehicles, right??? hehe... I would highly doubt this will happen anytime soon...

it may happen, but it ain't gonna be THIS year... or I betcha even in the first quarter of next year... they've got waaaay too much other stuff goin on and to do...

I better see and get the updates for my predator that are long over due before I see any foreign shit up on the site...
