PCM fingerprint

Post by eric448503 »

What type of info will the dealer be able to see if they hook up to my truck? Will they just see it was flashed? And yes I know to return to stock before I go. Just curious... 2012 RAM 5.7

They won't see anything. DiabloSport products leave no traces or prints behind.

Nothing whatsoever huh. I believe you but would a Diablo employee be able to confirm this?

This is what a Ram technician told me, 'The newer PCM's have a counter that shows the number of reprogramming attempts. While returning the tune to stock will hade any obvious tune that was in place, a high number of reprogramming attempts will make it obvious that one has been used.'

they wont see anything that can void your warranty, or anything that doenst happen by disconnecting the battery :)

In the 5+ years that we have sold 1000s and 1000s of HEMI tuners, I have never, ever, heard of a warranty issue.
The local dealers down here sell and install our products for their customers, and they loan us cars to strap to the dyno for development :)

If your that worried about it, find a new/better dealership that is not out to screw their customers (happy customers come back to buy more cars :))

Thanks
