I-1000 and I-1000-DCX

I thought all cars were going to be supported off of the I-1000? Now there is a I-1000-DCX, why? ( I understand its for the newer Chrysler stuff - but why a different part #)

The way intune is set up, and the way these new PCMs work, this was simply necessary in order to get it into the inTune application.

Will the I-1000-DCX support 2011 and up? I bought a I-1000 hoping to use it on my 2011 RAM in the future.

Yes, the DCX tool will be for 11_up applications.

I just picked up the I-1000 in anticipation for the upcoming releases and now there is going to be a different model all together?

Is this updated unit only applying to the I-1000?
Can someone with a T-1000 update without purchasing a new unit unlike the
I-1000?

trinity is and has been available for the 11+ applications for over a month now...
