I just received my intune for my 2012 challenger and was trying to write a new tune and now it will not turn the ignition to on or crank up. I updated the intune on the computer then went to the car. I followed all the directions. It recognized the vehicle. I first went into the quick adjust and stiffened the shifts and cleared the TCM adaptives. It then asked me to cycle the ignition off then on, this worked. I then went to write the tune and it gave me the option of "diablo tune" "91 octane" and "modify stock". I selected 91 octane. It then asked me to cycle the ignition off and on again. I cycled it off, but when i went to turn it back on nothing happened. It was creating the back up and now nothing. What do i need to do?
Thank you,
Aaron

Re: 2012 Dodge Challenger bricked. Help Please
That exact same thing happened on my 2011 Dodge Challenger when I tried to upload both that tune and the Diablo Tune. Just leave it plugged in and keep doing the key cycle (off to on and back to off again) as instructed. If you have a Start/Stop button like I do, you may need to pop that off and manually use the key to go back and forth.
For me, it took several attempts for the InTune to completely give up on uploading the new tune. During that time, I was definitely starting to sweat because nothing on the vehicle would respond (not even the door lock and unlock to the key fob controls).
Once the InTune determines that the load has failed, it should resort to uploading the back-up (original factory) tune again. Once that process starts, the EVIC computer will light back up and the car will show signs of life. Let the upload continue, and again follow all the instructions on cycling the key, and in about 5 minutes you should get a message that the original tune is uploaded again and it's safe to disconnect the InTune.
Granted, this worked for me after a bit of trial and error with a 2011. I'm not sure if it's going to work for you, but it's worth a shot until Mike at DiabloSport can get back to you tomorrow. I know I wouldn't be able to stand it if I had to go an entire night with my Challenger dead in the garage.
Good luck Aaron, and hopefully these folks will troubleshoot upload issues for the 2011+ Hemis soon and provide us with an update to download.
