OK, tried again this AM. Even pulled fuse for stereo after reading some other threads. Still getting same thing. Eikk go all the way through loading ask for key cycle and then tells me calibration failed to load. Any suggestions? Should I reload the i ITF and start over?

Re: lost original tune
OK, dripped file into intune drive. It cycled. Drive showed up again and showed file still sitting in drive. Auto updater started and in tune drive disappeared. Auto updated ran and said no intune connected. Tried to rewrite calibration to car with same results. Tool still shows application 1r03b. I noticed that that ITF was small compared to the others. Was it just a patch of sorts or did the whole file not get posted by chance?

Re: lost original tune
thr VIN-1r01c.ITF file above. Dropped it into intune drive and looked like it cycled, but unlike the other ITFs, when the drive came back up, it was still sitting there. Then, when running the updater, it said "no intune detected" and the intune drive disappeared. I just unplugged and replugged the intune into computer and was able to open drive long enough to remove the file. The intune drive has remained. The auto updater just cycled and downloaded some updates to the inTune and I am waiting for it to reboot. Also, just tried calling, got the automated voice and then it said no secretary available and disconnected.

Re: lost original tune
OK, talked with Mike M on phone and we reset tool. Was able to recognize vehicle. Went to write tune and read stock tune and saved it as a backup (assuming at some point during my mulitple attmpts the calibration update was actually written to PCM otherwise it would ask for a calibration, right? Should I send in a copy of the backup so you guys can compare it to a true stock tune or am I being paranoid?). Loaded the 89 tune, took it for a spin and the traction control/ESP/BAS lights came on (and stayed) and transmission appeared to be in limp mode. Pulled over, reloaded stock tune (which release vehicle license) and went for a drive and transmission still in limp mode (no lights however). Called back in and got ahold of Mike (BTW, do you have to be named Mike to work there???) and we cleared DTC codes. Car seems to be driving fine now on stock tune. Will drive it around that way for a few days to make sure there are no issues. Otherwise tool seems to be working ok. Thanks for the help Mike(s)

Re: lost original tune
I am getting basically the samething except I am not able to install 1i because the firmware in 3c cannot be replaced with 1i. And it is kicking everything else out that is Ford related. Which really sucks concidering its an F150. Ta boot, it's Saturday and I'm stuck with no truck for Monday morning...
