Unable to read code U7193

Hi Guy's:

Have an 05 Avalanche on a U7193. Lately a Service Airbag Msg is being displayed on DIC. I hooked up the Predator, and asked it to read the code, and it says there is no code to read.

I cannot erase this code because of this, nor find any info about it. I have read a bit on the internet, and find GM has a TSB on this with a couple of specific code #'s.

Is the Predator unable to read air bage codes due to the nature of this Msg ?

Any help appreciated.

the tool will only read/clear pcm/engine codes... airbags have nothing to do with the pcm/engine tune, they are part of body control module (bcm), nothing you can do about those codes since the tools have nothing to do with the bcm/airbag stuff...

Hi Monte:

Tks for the reply, I should have thought it through, forgot most vehicles have two controllers. I guess its off to the Dealership, and see if the TSB I found applies to this situation.
