Transmission adjustments on 08 Sierra?

Post by toyoman »

I don't see anywhere on this inTune to adjust the tranny shifts on my 08 Sierra. I'm a long time Predator user and was waiting for TCM support for years, but never happened. That is the ONLY reason I purchased this new one and now I don't see it available. Not Happy at All! Can I update to a better software version to get this option? Please help...

Mike-
Yes I updated it and registered before use. You replied already to my instant message and I sent you the XML file. When can I expect the updated tune?
Edit: attached xml file.

I'm also having trouble saving a datalog. When I go to save the file, it just freezes up. Any fix for that coming too?

What happens when it asks you to choose a TCM tune? I have an 08 Silverado and all the TCM support is there and works.

There is no prompt for TCM tune anywhere. I think I need to have an update to the tool which will include my cal id which they are hopefully working hard to get out soon.

^^^ WTF?? Has this site been hacked by a shoe store or what?

In other news, I still can't make adjustments to my Torque Mgmt. with this inTune. I'm starting to think I wasted my money.

connect to your truck, and reinstall the tune again.. do not go back to stock first, just select the same tune you installed before, and reinstall it again right over itself... see of you then get tcm options for firm shift or hard shift tcm tune choices...

have seen this happen with others... don't have tcm options when they install a tune, but then go back and reinstall it over itself and the tcm is recognized and they get the tcm tune options...

so give it a go...

Re-installing tune didn't seem to work. I took some pics of the screen..I notice that it always says "tune ECM" at the top. Never anything about the TCM with no options for torque in any of menu boxes on the next 2 screens down if that's where it's supposed to be. Attaching the info file and last tune written again. I'll try to post screen pic as well. Vexing little bug in the system here I guess.
