So since there was an over abundance (sarcasm) of posters on/in this thread... is this comment aimed at me?
nope, not at all. just a general statement towards some of the guys i know on other forums that seem to think they know more about subjects than they really do. the tpms issue is straight forward and i would have said the same thing. i was just asking about the gearing subject because I am genuinely curious.

Its all good! i gots that think skins

I am going to sell my InTune and pick up a Trinity. Once i return my Jeep back to stock i should be good to go correct? Anything special i need to to for the Trinity since it will be for a '12? Just hook it up online and go from there? Can i use the same gear swap package that you sent over?

Thanks!

Dave

Yes return the JKU to stock.
As for the Trinity you will need the DS downloader installed and running connect your new Trinity and it will update automatically.
( remember to always return to stock prior to updating with the Trinity)
As for the previous tune,( gear package) no they will have to give you one written for the Trinity.

It appears the 2012 JK 3.6 will need a way to adjust for gear swaps.
We had a jeep running 4.88 gears and a AEV to adjust for tires and gears....no issues
Returned the AEV back to stock and programmed a 91 octane tune in and adjusted for tire size. As soon as it hits 3500 rpm the light comes on and it goes into limp mode.....flash the gear back in with the AEV and it drives fine with the 91 oct tune.
I'm thinking mike said they are working on some updates so we can adjust gears and TPMS all the way out even without sensors, similar to the way the AEV unit would do it.

FYI. 2007-2011 doesn't really care what gear you have as the speed is measured at the wheels. But I would think a gear adjustment option may help getting the transmission closer to stock settings. Even though you can correct the speedo the trans output speed will be different and that's what the factory ECU looks at when shifting.

hi rpmextreme,
so you combine booth diablo w/aev procal ??mean setting from aev procal (tire size, gear ratio, tpms, etc)still on the car then you put your diablo on?
after that you dont have to set the trinity setting for gear ratio, speedo correction(tire size),and so on?
coz i planning to buy trinity t-1000 next week, now i'm using aev procal

so mikel, when there's is no up date in the near time, about gear ratio, tire size, etc, can i combine the trinity T-1000
w/ the aev procal, coz i dont want see the tire warning on my dash, since i didn't use tire press sensor at all,so leave the aev procal do the tpms, gear ratio, and the tire size, and diablo T-1000 do the engine tuning,
can it be like that??
