you let dodge's fans down!

Post by the black tide »

after they wait diablosport a very long time to give more support for jeep, chrysler and dodge, you "diablosport" gave them just a little snack to let them staffing more. The only good support we had was for SRT8 2006 and 2007

any later models, we have to get CMR to just get our cars starting to know something called "TUNE"

autostick was a problem from 2008 and you keep mentioning you solved it
trinity is really bad jamming tool as you know but you keep selling it
6.4 hemi can't get more performance without CMR

now what? chevy and ford are getting unleashed with their tune but we still standing on the same place

i have a superbee 2013 after i sold SRT 300c 2006 and i'm stock because i know there is no tune for 2013 as well as the tune will be like the one on 2011 and 2012 which will be something we just hear but we don't really see on streets as performance

just till us, are you gonna keep doing like this all the time, diablosport?

we want diablo's to be something like hptuners or EFILive. Anything else will not be called TUNE at all

what?

I'm sorry you feel the way you do, but we feel we offer an amazing tuning solution to the HEMI market, and our customers seem to be very pleased with this.

We have no intention of offering end user software anytime soon as it is difficult to support, and 99% of people have no clue how to properly tune a car...best left to a pro.

Thanks

Nobody gives a shit what the "fans" want. They don't know what they want and they aren't smart enough to tune their own cars. Ask HPTuners, ask EFI Live. They'll tell you the exact same thing. Chrysler computers are too damn complicated and their owners are clueless. Less than 1% of Chrysler owners have any business writing a tune, and those that do, already bought CMR. This is the way its been since they first released tuning for the 2005-2007s (u7135, 8r14), and this is how it will remain in the future. There was nothing extra for the earlier ones that isn't available for the current ones.

I think he's saying the canned tunes are crap and there's hardly any noticeable difference to justify an expensive tuner. I tend to agree. ;)

I'm thinking that all this angst should be directed at Chrysler.

crap, eh?

Keep in mind, as these cars are tuned better and better by the OEM, there is less left on the table.

We are not forcing anyone to purchase anything from us, but if you want to tune these cars, it is THE way to go. If you feel there is something left on the table, CMR is there and you can try to tune it better with a CMR dealer :)

First of all, you haven't answer the main questions and i think you should go back and read my post to know what the main questions were

Moreover, you still keep excusing your company while it broke its promises when it said something that it would offer but they didn't (skipping auto shift for example !)

besides, the whole company is depending on CMR as its way to get more money but they capitalized it when they're making everything tuned by CMR even simple basic things in tune.

Nevertheless, you're costumers buy from you because you're the only company CAN tune their cars but look for chevy and ford fans, are most of them buying your crap?

you have to admit it. you gotta say you're not meeting the requirements.

go back to you're ads. and see what you mentioned and what costumers really got from your products.

you know what? i started give more respect to other companies like pp performance when they say their products are not the giving the costumers the ability to tune any single thing in their cars. At least, they admit it clearly !!!

let's wait HPtuners. they're working on dodge's tune then you're gonna see how many costumers you left with !

I wasn't going to reply to this, but...you're last statement is classic.

You have any idea how long they have been working on 05-06 support? 4+ Years. Not even close to being released, and that don't even touch on 07-10 or get them anywhere close to offering 11+ support. I promise you, we are so far ahead of the curve in Dodge tuning, it will take a LONG time for anyone to even get close. What we do is NOT simple, if it was, HPt, EFIlive, SCT, and everyone else in the game would be doing what we do, but they can't, so they don't.

We have for years improved ALL of our products. Ask anyone who bought a U7135 the day we released it.
They'll tell you all about the AMAZING updates we provided them over the years, from new improved tunes, to new features and parameters, you name it, we added it.

Enjoy your tuner, and look forward to some updates in the future.

have a fantastic day!

Hi...New to the forum----but not tuning in general (although I do have more expirience with Carbs than EFI)....

Wanted to say---Great Job DS. As it happens--I remember going to SEMA last year to hear about all the news (lucky me I live in Vegas :D and have some inside friends).... Odd.... Yours was the only company even touching the new Dodge, again +1 for DS.

I dont like bashing people---however.....

The Black Tide---Its very apparent that you are trolling this board. Feeding the Trolls is dangerous however I'll bite for now:

1.If you are going to complain---and take such a strong stance, please form you thoughts into cohearant ENGLISH---it is the main language of this board right?

2. I dont see any excuses made by Diablo Sport----Matter O' Fact i see boasting. Their damn proud of their product and have every right to be. Its an excellent product. Out of all the companies you have mentioned (to which you are apparently a fan-boy of) how many have released a stable or decent tune for Dodge?.....Crickets.....Yeah, thats right.....

3. Expecting canned tunes to perform as well as a CMR tune (with access to a dyno and other monitoring tools) is foolhardy at best or idiotic at worst. You really expect a canned tune that has to take everyones vehicle and average them out (temperature, altitude, light/no mods, driving style, fuel quality etc...) and expect them to perform like a custom tune? You have to be joking....or maybe you dont understand that the DS is a gateway into even being able to tune---it just so happens that it has some built in tunes as building blocks. Will they run, sure. Will they run well? Depending if you select the right one, and what your definition of well is then yes. Are they going to give you the same performance as a dyno tuned environment? NOT EVEN CLOSE---and as a matter of fact---DS DOESNT MAKE ANY CLAIM THAT THEY WILL.

I LOVE THIS STATEMENT:

"Nevertheless, you're costumers buy from you because you're the only company CAN tune their cars but look for chevy and ford fans, are most of them buying your crap?"

Um.... Yeah... There are metric shit-tons of people that are buying their tuners that drive Ford and Chevy. Do you really think they would spend the R&D $$$ to research a product that nobody was buying, just on hopes and dreams that they would? This company makes tunes and tuners due to demand (as any company would) not on a whim....... How many vehicles do they have tunes for that someone (or a multitude) of people havent asked for?

Pretty sure this thread should be locked due to too many ID-10-T Fanboy errors.......

They won't lock it. They're better then that. We bad mouth other sites when they lock posts about DiabloSport, so it would be hypocritical of them to lock one for bringing up another tuner.

by the way, poor fans

I did something on my SRT8 06 with predator-canned-tune that i wish you do half of it in someday :)

You did "something"? I did a lot of somethings. Why don't you tell us what that "something" is?

I am waiting for the 3.6 but regardless of who releases it first I am still buying from Diablo Sport because from what I've heard they are the best. And it is true that what they do is not quick, nor is it easy by any means.
