Need new transfer case -_-

Not pissed at diablosport just out of my own curiosity im wondering if increased shift firmness w/ Mode 2 could have been the cause of the teeth on the rear output shaft of the tranny, the teeth inside and outside the coupling and the teeth on the transfer case all to ware down to the point of needing a new one? it basically crapped out on me in the highway and Dodge tried quoting me at 7k worth of repairs BS i found all the parts for 2k and they want to replace my TCM. I'm not a dodge tech, but i don't see how that would be necessary

what vehicle are you taking about?

there is nothing the tune can do to wear down splines on a shaft...

thats what i was thinking, never heard of a tune destroying a transfer case, turns out they just wanted to bs me i saw it myself, all i need is a new coupling and a new output shaft quite far from 7k.
and its a AWD 05 Magnum
