no.. just connect to the car.. select the same tune you had installed before.. then modify it... save/apply the changes you make, then install the tune....

Hey Lew....thanks this clears it up a bit more for me....what if I had the Diablo installed and wanted to switch to say the 87 tune. Will the Trinity automatically compare write the 87 tune ?

Thinking that always reverting back to orginal backup before hand is a sure fire way but longer for sure.

Its all in the manual and also search here too....lots of info. One thing I've found that helps me learn the details of something new like this (tuning) is to keep your own living document in word....that way as you find what you are looking for you can add and make your notes as required.
If you're not having fun......you are doing it wrong. :-)

yes, you can just switch to the other tune if you want, and any changes you made yourself before, will be carried over... it should ask you if you want to "reset all parameters"... if you choose NO, then it will apply the changes you made before to the new tune you are installing... if you choose YES, then it will erase the changes you made before and just install the new tune with its regular settings....

no need to go back to stock first when switching tunes...

Thanks!
