New laptop, CMR wont open.

Hey guys,

Just installed CMR 5.0 on a new laptop and I am getting an error when trying to open the program. I attached a screenshot of the error message. Any thoughts?

ok, so the older version of CMR that was in the folder opens fine, but then i get stuck in a regestration loop. also, it looks like dodges arent unlocked in that version.

laptop is running 32bit windows 7 btw.

id suggest uninstalling 5.0 and do the 47092 full installer then the 4901 update.

im actually trying that now. its installing as we speak.

ok now CMR opens fine.

it asks me to register, i enter my info, and it say registration successful, please restart CMR.

when i restart, it asks me to register again. and goes through the whole thing again.

any fix mike? id like to try to get a car on the dyno this afternoon.
