A stupid question for Mike L, what would happen if u are using the 93 oct + CAI tune and you are using 94 oct gas? (Negative effects?)
And what would happen if u use a similar tune and you throw in an octane booster in your tank, like a +6 point octane boost??[/quote]

Octane is a measure of knock resistance, the higher the octane the more resistance to knock. You can run any octane above the octane rating of the tune, say the 87 octane tune with 93 octane fuel, no problem, but don't run fuel with a lower octane rating than the tune being used because the lower octane fuel can't resist the knock that will be present with the advanced timing of the higher octane rated tune.

It wants you to unhook from the car and reconnect to your computer for a calibration update... then return to the vehicle and load the new calibration. Then you can proceed to install a tune.

Did that and got this after connecting it to the computer, "An error occurred. Info: Please contact [email protected] using Calibration ID 68089520AH."

BTW, im helping him out. here is a screen shot of what it shows on PC.
