Multiple Vehicles on one trinity

Post by dwolson2 »

Is there an ETA or plans on allowing more than one vehicle to be paired to the trinity? I saw in other places you are headed that way. Are you going to unlock a couple of vehicles or do you have to pay for each vehicle? I bought the trinity solely because it works on both of my vehicles(12 Durango and 01 Silverado) Its the only one out there that does(to my knowledge) That said, it would be a stupid purchase if you don't allow me to use it on both at the same time.

No ETA, but we're still thinking about it...

Well it would be nice. It's the reason I bought this one and not another brand. I'd push that is going to open more customers into Buying one. It would be sweet if 2 vehicles were included, then 100 (or however much it is to unlock it is right now) for each additional Vin up to 5. That would make it a better buy for people with 2 vehicles. It's good business.

Great idea even if there was a fee to unlock for second or third vehicle.
Perhaps run a poll here to see interest, I would be willing to pay a fee of $100 to use of second.

Lots of ways to price assuming the logistics could be manageable.
Keep up the great support guys.

anything too much over a 100 and it would be hard for me to spend it. I really hope that this can get some steam as I would like to see a change :D

$100 seems a bit low since an unlock is $179, and you'd essentially be doing the same thing (allowing use on another vehicle). I would expect in the $125-$150 area.

I thought they redid the pricing to 129 for an unlock?

$129 was the Predator price. The Trinity is $179, inTune $159.

Ah ok, well then closer to 200 would be acceptable, but closer to 100 would be better :D

As you said it does make business since and could be a win / win for Diablosport and add another reason to buy the ``tool`` :D

Well, then $150 sounds like the best bet! :wink:

Just being capable to put it on my wives' SUV made it better than the others. Buuuut, I could have gotten 2 tuners for just a little more than what I spent on my trinity. That said, the functions of it and the possibility pushed me toward the trinity. I would think that 2 vehicle uses would just increase sales on them.

I put up a poll;

hopefully it will show the demand/interest/lack of interest to either get them pressing on it or shut me up :)
