Re: SRT8 MDS Fixed????
what makes you think it is coming on?
If you are seeing the eco light, that is not MDS....

It has nothing to do with the Eco light, I can feel it kick in and you can hear it in the exhaust while you try to accelerate and then it pops out of the mds.

It's not just the SRT8 but the 5.7 too!
Funny you mention this because since I have owned my 2012 Grand Cherokee Altitude 5.7 HEMI it has seemed the MDS kicks in regardless of the tune being applied or not. I tried the Diablo tune and the 91 Tune which I am currently running for daily driving. These Jeeps are really irritating because they are either kicking in this MDS garbage and running out of torque going up hills or the thing won't downshift until it seems the engine is ready to quit. This problem happens to me every time I go up this one hill coming home from work and it drives me nuts! Wish someone could advise a way to fix this because pushing the accelerator more makes it kick down so harshly that you almost rear-end the car in front of you!
Can anyone from Diablo help me with a custom tune to try and solve this issue? I am willing to work with them diligently to solve this issue. Thanks!
