First off i just got my predator today and its awesome! It makes my truck come alive! Thanks DiabloSport.
But on to the question:
I have a 2008 chevy silverado with the 5.3L without flex-fuel and my brother has the same truck with the flex-fuel engine. Would it be possible to use my predator for both trucks?
The only problem i could see is what to do with the stock tune? Would it be possible to save the stock tune for my truck to my computer then go do my brothers truck and save his stock tune to my computer so they are both backed up? Or is this a situation that requires him to get his own predator?
note: this is saying that the stock tune for the flex-fuel engine and the regular engine are different... i dont know if they really are different or not.
Thanks!

Even if the predator model you have would support both trucks (I'm not immediately sure and am too lazy to look it up) --- I will assume it is compatible for both vehicles you are referring to ---- I belive the following to be the case.
it is my understanding that once you load a tune to "a vehicle" and back up the stock tune, the tool is "locked" to that vehicle via its VIN, i.e. it can't be used on another like vehicle.
Now, if you RESTORE the original vehicle back to its stock tune, this "releases" the tool to tune a different compatible vehicle. Of course, once the "alternate" vehicle is tuned, it becomes locked to THAT vehicle.
Thus, you can only tune one vehicle at a time, as the tool will be locked to that vehicle.

no... it is not possible.. one tool/predator, one vehicle...
once you tune a vehicle with the predator, it becomes locked/married to that vehicle, and that vehicle only.
you would have to restore your original (OEM) stock backup tune to your truck in order to "unlock" the predator, then it could be used on his truck...
but only one vehicle can be tuned at a time, cuz as I mentioned, it gets locked to the vehicle it tunes.
