Heres one for you...

Post by morbidmonkey »

Hi all im just looking for an answer to this question, if I send a unit in will it be fully formatted unlocked put back to like new? My unit freezes on start up at 75%. ok cool... its an easy fix... but will it be fully erased? put back like new? still locked? anything would be better than just easy fix and if its that easy of a fix, why am I paying 100 dollars for that? Just curious.

lol its all good mike, sorry I was just ranting on... It not under warranty and I don't have the receipt for it so im sure its going to fall under the 100 dollar repair fee. all im looking for is to get it reset back to factory settings with no vin lock or stock tune on it. just a full wipe.

unlocking is a different story, thats $159.

You can reset it by restoring the stock tune to the vehicle once you get it back from us...

Because if you have a tune on your car and they reset it for you it could be sold or used to tune another car!
The tuner can only be used on one vehicle at a time. Sounds like you're trying to cheat the system!

Yeah I said it Mike, so you don't have to!
