My BMW used to be able to hold the selected gear, and Mercedes allows their cars to, so why the hell is Chryslers programming so screwed up?

I know you guys are having problems with the TCM, but.......
.... if you ever get it figured out, can you please fix the damned Autostick? I realized for the first time tonight that it doesn't hold the selected gear. It instead will pick any gear below the selected one. I tried to keep her in second gear tonight, while driving home in the snow, and the damned thing kept going into first. It wasn't pretty.

Thanks Mike. It really is needed, even though DCX didn't seem to think so. If you guys can figure out a way to keep the converter locked most of the time like the new IS-F, that would be even better.
