cold air intakes

Re: cold air intakes
Go back to the jlt2 file and then go to diagnostics -> realtime logging and select the long and short term fuel trims and then hit record and let it idle at running temperature.

Re: cold air intakes
well if thats the case this 93 octane JLT2 tune is horrible! or is it this intake?? I just paid 260 bucks to get much slower, i have pretty much lost all my low end torque and acceleration where is the performance at?? Highly DISAPPOINTED!!
Re: cold air intakes
Also mikel said that there was no tune yet made for a 2010 4.0 v6 early in this thread. So what do u mean its on the money with the stock? stock what??? Guys please review the tune u sent me this is not adding up.
Re: cold air intakes
You need to go to a CMR tuner apparently. All that was done was scale the MAF so it's inline with the intake. Standard prodcedure that anyone else would do with an intake and doesn't have problems. WE don't offer custom tuning. All that tune is the 93 tune with that intake on there so I'm sure you can figure it out for yourself what's going on.

Re: cold air intakes
thanks i really appreciate all your help, i dont think i will ever fall for the cold air intake crap again! now that i think about it if they where so fuel efficient and such the performance stud they claim, manufactures would already have them on the vehicle. Is there any safe adjustment that i could possibly make to get a lil more punch out of this tune ???? once again thanks
Re: cold air intakes
If you get a dyno pull with AFR reading I'll adjust it. That's the only way tho.

After driving it my check engine light came on, so i looked at the trouble codes on my tuner and i was getting codes p0171 and p0174. so finally do my question how do i fix this?

Re: cold air intakes
I need help on this same subject. I have a 2006 Mustang GT with auto trans. I have a U7140 tuner and have installed a JTL Series 3 CAI. I have used both the JTL Induction and JTL Firm Shift tunes with both throwing engine codes P0171 Too Lean Bank 1 and P0174 Too Lean Bank 2, and P1000 OBD System Readiness Test Not Complete. What do I need to do to get my pony running right?
