Faster down shifts

I have a 2012 Durango RT AWD with a CAI, throttle body, and cat backs. I am using the87 tune with 5% richer. At lower speeds (15 mph) the truck seems to just try and work through a higher gear instead of down shifting to 1st. Would throttle boost or shift firmness help this out?

you'd need to get a custom tune done to change/lower the downshift shift point so that it will downshift sooner...
