uploading tune from laptop file to predator

Im new, sorry. but I am having problems loading the file update for my 04
F-150 SC 4X4 5.4 downloaded file and tried to upload it to predator but it says wrong type file. On my desktop the file show as CROM but it is unrecognizable by PC or DSDownloader. what the hay do I do now? I would like the update, hoping it will give more power or save me some fuel costs in premium fuels. 11.2 MPG now. it hauls but it needs a mobile gas station drug behind me to get across town. please email me back with info soon. PS I have had this original tune of 93 octane since 2005, August.

What revision are you on now? Updating the tool should be pretty simple.
Did you read through the DSDownloader instructions on the web? They can be found on the downloads page where you got the revision file. Read through them again for assistance. Make sure the 'compressed send' button is checked on the downloader, and make sure you are using the 'send crom file to Predator' button.
