SLP7193 issue with 2004 GTO

Hello,

I have an SLP7193 which I know to be the same as a U7193 but with SLP tunes.

The tuner can see all data from my 2004 GTO A4 but when I go to apply a tune it comes back with unsupported vehicle as an error.

Another thing I noticed is that the start up screens on the tuner list it as being 2003 - 2005 GM Truck and SUV.....no mention of car but maybe because there was no more room on the screen?

The tuner is unlocked and the tune on the car comes back as factory tune. The tuner is a revision 2.x which I know is old but I need the rear O2 delete that the SLP tunes have due to headers and catted midpipes.

Is there a special trick to getting it to apply the tune or is my tuner toast?

that is a truck tool, not for a GTO.....
