Why doesnt this work - Please help

Ok, this is turning to be a massive headache.

I am in Australia and bought a sprintex supercharger which came with an intune. It's for a 2011 JK Wrangler.

I have installed on PC, done the updates, plugged into car, got asked to update calibration, plugged into PC and downloaded calibration, plugged back into jeep to update calibration etc.

It stays on 0% and asks to turn off/ on about 3 times and the fails and says an error occurred and then the intune goes into recovery mode.

used live chat this morning and the guy gave me password to reset and then i tried again with the exact same issue.

Called support and on hold for 20 minutes without answer. Now like I said, I am in Australia so being on hold for this long this device is going to end up costing me double.

Is there something I can do to sort this out, it's starting to get very annoying. :blowup:

So how long should i expect to be on hold first thing in the morning. have called twice being on hold for 20 minutes each since you opened first thing. this is becoming expensive. is there another way or should i just send this thing back?

We only opened at 9:00 AM, we are taking calls as they come in.

Your answering machine said 8:30.

in any case I was still on hold after 9pm.

is there an offline way of doing this? These things should just work.

So got through after 35 minutes this time and the person I spoke to had me do the exact same things I had already tried, including resetting the tool and downloading the calibration again.

still no luck.

so was now advise to go to sprintex and request a replacement tool. Does this sound right. Am I just not going to be able to get this to work on my 2011?

seems fairly buggy and I am worried about trusting this thing with my engine if I ever get it to work.

if it still failed after resetting, replacing it may be a good idea, yes.

This is not a common issue, replacing the tool is very rare.

Had the same problem with mine after 100 + tries it finally updated and started work tricky little buggers they are.
