2013 Charger R/T Disable Auto Upshift?

I called in to support and I didn't get a really clear answer. Is the disable auto up shift (in manual mode) an available option for the 13 Charger R/T with the T1000. The support rep made it sound as the option just needs turned on for my PCM code, but judging from the limited transmission shifting options we have I’m starting to think it’s more than just turning it on….?
Can someone please clarify if I should have this option? Also my TCM adaptive reset fails when I try. If it is a simple fix please post updated code for my car. Thanks!!

it did not work properly on the 13;s, we'll have to do some investigating. Trans adaptive reset will be fixed shortly.

I was hoping the upshift disable would work allowing motor to Rev out more before shifts with the Rev limit extended.

My upshift goes to redline and past til engine dies, but only when in sport mode (2013 R/T) scared the shit out of me i thought it would shift lol. Is this just a feature of sport mode?

You must have the road and track RT. I do not have a sport mode on my R/T. When I switch over to manual mode my car will auto upshift to next gear right at readline. My hope is they get this fixed. I have my rev extended to 6,000 so if they can fix this feature than I can hold my revs to 6k. I dont think we will be adjusting shift points anytime soon.

Yes, if you are in manual shift and sport, it will just bounce off the rev limiter instead of shifting.
