Bought a used '07 Daytona. It appears that it was mostly untouched, but it did come with a CAI. I do not believe the car had different tires, as the wheels were welded on pretty good, like they had never been taken off.
Speedometer was reading roughly 4% low.
While installing the first predator tune, I installed the tire size off the factory tires... that did not fix the problem.
Changed predator tunes, and was going to change a few parameters, so I cleared all the parameters first, but did not change tire size. This did correct the speedometer issue.
Any speculation on what was wrong, and why clearing the parameters cleared it up?

Re: Strange Speedometer Issue
Mike,
Either the cars prior owner had messed it up or the factory messed it up. When I installed the first tune, I installed the stock tire size, and nothing changed. When I installed a different tune and cleared the parameters, life was good. Just curious how it might have gotten messed up, but I am happy DSP somehow fixed it!
