Smokin'..not in a good way

Post by 06 300c ya »

Hooked up my Intune yesterday to change my transmission settings. When I plugged in the OBDII nothing happened, tool never powered up. After about 10 seconds I got gray smoke and a horrible burning smell from the OBD connection on the tool. I immediately disconnected the tool. I assume I need to send this back...again. :x

I don't want to rip you guys a new one here, but I have had this for about a year and a half. I have only used it about 5 times, but almost every time I try to use it something goes wrong. I have already had to send it back for one problem, now I have to send it back again. I am at the point that I dread using it because I know I am going to run into some sort of problem. I like the tool when it actually works, and the tunes are great, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed.

I am also hoping I am not going to be charged $99 to fix a tool that has never worked right from day one, not to mention I am not the only one to experience this problem. Seems to be a hardware problem on your end so I don't feel I should be penalized for that. Please tell me you will do something to make this right.

send it in, we'll fix it, there will likely be a charge as its out of warranty.
