Question 2013 Charger SRT-8

Hi,

Finally got my Trinity last night

I just want to confirm what I am doing...

1- When I started the device (connected to my laptop) I entered year 2013, I didnt get an option for DODGE
2- I downloaded trinity_dcx_gas-1r10b_update and installed it and configured the trinity for the 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8

I just want to confirm that I should be using this file before I connect the trinity to my car... because I say a file named trinity_dcx_gas-1t10cc_update in one of the threads... should I use that one instead?

OK,

So I couldn't wit and I went ahead and plugged the trinity into my car.

Selected Perf Tune 91, Trinity said it will backup the original... It went on Reading until it reached 90%, then it says "Cannot Read Page (2)"

it asked me if I want to try again... Same thing... reaches Reading 90% and Cannot Read Page (2)...

I tried this 2 times...

The car starts as normal afterwards. I checked trinity to see if it is married to my car, it is not.

Am I doing something wrong?

Try connecting the vehicle to a battery charger, or take the vehicle for a drive around the block a few times. Make sure to have the a/c and radio off as it sounds like the vehicle is using a lot of power when tuning.

Thanks Garett... I did that and tried again the second time... reached Reading 90% twice ... same thing.

Update... it finally worked... I took the car for a long drive to make sure the battery is well charged... got home, plugged Trinity... it read the Car tune, saved it, then it wrote the new tune... reached the end, and then wrote it again... that's when I got really worried, thinking it might not work... But then all was good...

I set the 91Tune... I will try the 93 soon... the reason is that in the UAE, the fuel Octane rating is different than US. We have 95 and 98 Octane.

I also got a CAI that I am waiting to install.
