Is adding 7% fuel to kill KR too much?

2013 Charger RT 5.7 running 93 octane on the 91 tune. In 2nd gear, full throttle run, I have 0 knock until 5,000 RPMs. The last 600 RPMS until the shift I experience 2-3.5* of ST knock. I never get any LT knock. So I tried to tune it out with fuel. I added 7% fuel to this range. Having no wide band sensor I'm worried about being pig rich. Is 7% an acceptable amount of fuel to add on the base tune? It seems like a lot.

I wouldn't reduce timing. If you can't get rid of knock, try a different brand fuel.

I was thinking 7% is 7% of the total fueling which would be a good bit of fuel especially if it runs rich from factory but Diablo 7% might not be 7% of the total.

I have.

The best brand in the DFW area is Chevron, it gives me the lowest knock out of all the brands but I still get up to 5 ST on the 91 tune.

7% is not much at all.

I was still getting knock with %5 across the WOT range running 93 on the 91 tune (SRT). Just bumped it up to 10 across the board, going to log that and monitor the knock. Really a shame that so many people are having knock issues like this. The maps might just be a tad too agressive.
