HELP car won't start! Backup faild.

Post by carbonblack »

This is my second Dasblosport i-1000. I had a great time with my i-1000 on the challenger. So I got another one for my 2004 Chevorlet SSR. Excited to put it on. First thing was to up date the firmware to 1r03m. Once device updated, I plug into my SSR'S OBDII. It backup factory PCM setting file fine. I select the specs I need. When it try to write the PCM, it failed in the half way. So it try to load the original backup file, but also failed. Then says "An error occured while restoring original Backup." Keep on doing this loop. No the car won't crank at all. Try remove the PCM fues for 30 min, no luck. Try remove battery for 30 min no luck. Check the ODBII wire connector, is fine. Thought the battery might be low, but it is new. When I was doing the turning on and off phase, I realize my key iginition is very loose, so when it was asking to be "ON" position, it was not all the way there. Car is very old part might be little loose! NEED HELP! I need to get it start! Attached my files.

Call volume is usually higher during lunch time. Try connecting the vehicle to a battery charger and restore the backup with the batter charging

What do you mean by "help you"? If they suggested you to send the PCM into us to be repaired then we are helping you. If they needed the PCM to come in, then it sounds like there's no option to help remotely, we have to actually have the computer to fix the issue.
