Hi, I plugged in my Intune to check if there was an update available for it. I assumed it would ask me if I wanted to install any
available updated before it actually did an install. So if there was an install available I'd return my 2003 Sierra 1500HD 6.0l to stock
and then perform the update. Well I looked down at the Intune and it was already installing the update. I unplugged it when it
got back to it's home screen and took it out to the truck to see if it connects properly. It now tells me there are no tunes available
for my truck and asked me to restore the original backup, which is what I did. Key off, key on cycle and it said 100% and the little
circle stopped spinning, but never gave me a success message or returned me to the home screen. I unplugged it after 2 minuted
of it doing nothing and the truck started up just fine,
Now it still says there are no tunes for my truck and wants me to restore the original backup again. The tool is still locked to my VIN,
but wont let me do anything with it when connected.
Any advice? What am I doing wrong?
Mark N.

Re: Think I messed up
there was no problem, until you unplugged it in the middle of the update...
let it finish updating on the pc and then it will be fine.

Re: Think I messed up
I let the Intune take the full update. I only unplugged from my PC after it returned to the home screen, the one you get when you plug it into a vehicle. Should I try the update process again? How do I know when the update is done? Will it give me some sort of "Update Complete" message or something?
It will be a couple of days before I hook it up to my Sierra though. The fuel tank is out of my Yukon right now, the fuel pump decided it wanted a cloud of fumes in and around the truck at all times for some reason. So I can't risk being down to no cars running.
Thanks, Mark N.
Hopefully this post works, I'm sending it from my not so smart phone.

if it went to the home screen, it was done updating.

Re: Think I messed up
Well you were right, I apparently didn't let it complete installing the update. My PC was apparently having some issues and needed updating itself. The first time I tried to update the Intune the "virtual Intune" window (AutoUpdate) didn't open on my PC screen. I was having some comm port issues. The issues were so bad that my system had a total meltdown this morning when I plugged in a USB device. After I got my PC running again and did it's 15 updates I plugged in the Intune, ran Auto Update, it opened up in is own window and it updated flawlessly. It connected to my truck and installed the tune no problem.mikel wrote:if it went to the home screen, it was done updating.
I just wanted to let you and anyone else that sees this thread know that the Intune was not the issue, it was my stupid PC. I still love this tuner and wouldn't want this thread to dissuade anybody from getting one.
Thanks for the help,
Mark N.
