frpp/whipple supercharger tune, are you REALLY workin on it?

Post by colt-a3 »

Please tell me you are working on the frpp/whipple tune  , I had to put all of my stock parts back on my car to put on the whipple, :x I have rebuilt the bottom end of my 07 to handle more power and would like to put on some smaller blower pulleys and at least my BBK twin 62mm throttle body but I need a way to change my AFR, I have an lm1 AFR meter but I need my Diablo, I am on the verge of selling it and looking for other options but I LIKE the tool!! :D and if you tell me to see a local CMR dealer for a "custom" tune I WILL strangle a puppy while it stares at me with its big brown eyes just to calm down  because the only dealer in Portland OR. CAN’T do that  ! All I need is for the thing to hook to my car PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP :!: I KNOW all of you at Diablo drive mustangs  HOW have you not come up with a tune yet :?: If you are NOT planning on working on it let us few whipple power hounds know so I can dump your tool and move on

I will get with my Ford guy to see if he is planning on releasing Whipple tunes. There's only two of us with mustangs, neither of which are 3Vs. Have you tried getting in touch with someone like Mike @ Dallas Mustang? He posts on here. www.1800mustang.com. He may be able to help you out.

See, the thing is, even if we made whipple tunes, they likely would still not work for you as you are planning to run higher boost levels and have modified the motor, you are squarely smack dab in the middle of "I need a custom tune" land.....there will never be a 'canned' tune that will work with the mods you describe.

Thanks

Thanks Christina, colt-a3 I have done quite a few of the Whipple 05-up cars. Call 800-Mustang or e-mail [email protected] and we can discuss it further.

I would love to see support of the Whipple strategies as DHL lost my Pro-cal tool tool with my stock tune and the only way I can get a custom dynotune with my Predator is to make a trip to the Ford dealer for them to flash my PCM which is an expense I don't want to pay. But if there is no Whipple support by spring that's what I'll have to do.

Did you ever put your whipple back on? Also what is your complete setup? Injectors, boost level desired, Fuel Pumps....?
