ok just so I know if its my car or the tuner, does the autostick disable work on the 07 5.7 charger. And if it is supposed to why does it not on my car. If it is not supported on the 07 5.7 I can live with that ,but if it is I would like to make it work

I guess I should have called support in the first place, turns out autoshift disable does not work for the 07 5.7 charger, you could have just come out and said that.

Well, as I said, I have my tuner looking into this.
I just discussed this with Christy, and she was under the impression that it does not work for any 07s, when in fact it is only 07 SRT8s that we can not do this on.
It is possible that you got the SRT8 TCM flash, which would render this feature useless on the R/T.

I see, well like I said last week when I installed it the autoshift was disabled, after changing tunes to v8r17 it stopped working, now no matter what tune or fuse I pull the autoshift will not disable. No I have not had it back to the dealer since new. This makes no sense to me. Is there something in v8r17 that changed my tcm ? I do not see how, I loaded my stock tune back in prior to changing tunes and than went back to v8r18 and still no disable. Also if it had an srt8 flash my shift points would have been higher than the 5500 when stock would'nt they ?

The SRT8 flash would not alter shift points.

I am still looking into this, but the fact that it worked at first and does not work now is just too strange.
Just doesn't make sense...

It happened after I went from v8r18 back to r17, the disable function stopped working. Thue tuner says that it has updated the autostick function but car still shifts by itself at about 5900 in autostick. Car is running r18 now. Also the tire function does not work. Atleast I dont think it does. I imput the data as asked but when I go back to the screen its blank again. I do not know if this is normal or not.

It will always revert to no info in the tire size screen, but if you made the change, and cycled the key, it took.

My 06 Mag R/T 05/05 build date, does not take the autoshift disable either.
Did not with r17 or r18 which I'm presently running. I'm assuming it will not function on this vehicle build either.
Battery disconnect didn't help. Reloaded crom file and re-flash didn't work.
AFE2/cat back and 91CAI tune.

Doesn't like to stay in MDS very much either.

This car ran like a dow, so I bought a mild cam and shory headers, but lost interest in installing them after the r17 flash, which really woke the car up.

So if I install the cam and headers, and then go with a CMR mail tune, can CMR tuning make adjustment that would keep MDS functioning more often?
