p300 randon misfire

I installed a new cam in my nnbs 07 sierra. I have a u7194 predator and the trouble codes p300 shows up. There is a misfire in the motor from about 500 to 1500 rpm's. Is there n e thing i can do with the predator to correct this misfire besids just clearing the trouble code p300. The cam i installed wasnt to big of a jump from the factory cam.
Will the predator correct this or will i need a professional tune.???
