Unable to reset TCM after latest update

Post by mannytwotwo »

I updated to trinity_dcx_gas-1r10b_update.crom 09-04-2013 1r10b and now I can't do a TCM reset. It just says failed after several attempts. I have a 2012 Charger R/T Max and have never had this issue before and I have had the Trinity for almost a year now. It's not too much of a big deal right now as I just did the reset by pulling the fuse but I was wondering if any other 2012 owners had experienced the same thing. I may do a full reset on the trinity itself over the weekend and try the update again and will report back.

do you recall what version it was on last that it allowed you to do this?

Correction...it was this one. trinity-1r10.crom 07-26-2013 1r10

The last version I had installed was 1r10a back in July I believe. It was the one before the recent 2013 support came out.

Any update on being able to change the TCM on 1r10b or should I just revert to 1r10.crom?

I updated to 1r10c on my 2012 Charger R/T Max but now I can't set my tire size anymore. The TCM reset did work with "c". I have 22's so I'm not sure how much the speedo is off to the correct reading. Any idea on a fix for "c" or should I just revert to "b" for now?

Thank you.

despite it saying it failed, i believe its actually working :)

go back and check the tire size by height, I bet its set to what you chose.

I'm sorry, I did not explain correctly. When I select by size or ratio it doesn't even let me go into the settings to make the adjustments. it just says "failed".

calid is 05156124AE.

To clarify a bit further. When I try to adjust the tire size either via the QA or the Modify Tune route I get the following messages:

"Error reading "Axle Ratio" parameter or "Error reading "Tire size" parameter depending on which method I choose.
