Straight OBD Plug/Cable for InTune?

Post by airportdave »

Is there a straight plug OBD cable for the InTune? I have a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the 90 degree OBD InTune connector is a very tight fit into the OBD connector- it has two protruding plastic bumps on either side of the connector. With a good push, it fits almost all the way on and works ok, but doing so really forces the cord into a tight bend, and it's difficult to unplug. I'm afraid that after much use, the wires in the cable, the plug, or the vehicle OBD connector will get damaged.

no, the cable with a 90 is the only option. You should never pull by the cable, on any electronic for that matter. The best suggestion i can make is to pull from the connector itself, not from the sides but from the bottom.
