Yes you can. Only problem though if you ever go back to stock it will automatically update to f again. If you have a 2013 or newer though I don't think 1r10 supports anything newer than a '12, at least for a jeep anyway don't know about the cars

What i ended up having to do, is when i go to 07_up_tuner i have to immediately delete all of the default gauge pages. I know its the inj PW PID that is causing the issue, but the problem with my tuner is that it locks up before i can get to the page with that PID to delete that PID only. So just delete all of the default gauge pages as quick as you can LOL and then re-add what you want to log from scratch.

I have the same issues on my trinity after updating to 1r10f. I cant create more than 1 page of PIDs and the trinity will freeze when I try and save the layout. I wish you guys kept the old croms up on the website just in case people were having issues with the new updates. But also people that update the trinity should report the problems also. I need to roll back to the DCX 1r09h I think it was the one I had last. It worked way better on my SRT4. Oh and does anyone else get a lot of haut monitoring alsp with this new update? How about freezing up when trying to save logs. Yeah I do not like dcx 1r10f.

Ok so I must be an idiot or just really F'ing irritated with this trinity. How do you load the 1r10 crom so that I can get this POS to log a run instead of freeze?

Thanks. I might have a trinity that's in a million pieces soon.

Ok restore your original backup to the car first and then download the crom 1r10 from the website. http://diablosport.com/downloads-updates?pid=2
Enter your trinity serial number in the form provided which can be found on the trinity by going to "options" then to "show Information"

After downloading the 1r10 crom which is before the 1r10f crom, save it and open up DSdownloader and then hook up the trinity to the PC. On DSdownloader hit update tool and select the file you just downloaded and upload to the trinity. They came up with an update now for the trinity too, its the trinity_dcx_gas-1r10g_update.crom version which ill have to see if it fixed the issues going on or not. But good luck. Hope this helps you out.

Well I tested out "trinity_dcx_gas-1r10g_update.crom" today. Not pleased! Reset the Trinity and went through the Vehicle setup for the 03 dodge SRT 4. I have the S1 PCM btw. WELL now lets get to it. So the trinity is in and hooked up to the car. First thing I did was delete all the PID layouts and start fresh under the "Logging" Settings on the home screen. Ok I made a new layout with 4 pids. I had my A/F Analog input, Injector PW, LT Knock, and Turbo WG DC (%DC) and saved it.. It was fine. Well I go back to my saved layout to start logging and not 20 seconds goes by before it will freeze completely. I have to unplug the trinity in order to reset it... Well it boots back up and I go back to my layout and behold it says unspecified on all the PIDS. It totally erased my setup layout so I went though each PID making a layout with one PID and one page (Took me a while). Well same thing while logging each one.. Froze and deleted the layout but not the layout name on the list of layouts you can choose from. Something is up with the PIDS section entirely and you cannot log anything and save it. I need to go back to 1r09 version. I wish you can choose that on the website on what version you want so if people have problems they can go back to the old while the new is being fixed. These bugs seem to be becoming more noticed as the updates come out. Something is not right if the firmware of the ARM chipset writes over the memory modules on the board when it freezes and you have to unplug the trinity. Might get out the old JTag and look at that firmware. Haha. Na ill leave it to you guys. haha!

Oh and why and the hell do you need to get a Tech and provide a key to get a password just to go back to an older version crom. That just bothers me greatly. I cant go back to an older version that actually worked for me.. People should have choices on rolling back without a tech password :crashing:
Spending money to not have the ability to roll back... Hmm I don't get that. I love the product but it shouldn't limit what version crom you used that work last :?

Latest Update 1r10g not working with 03 SRT S1

Post by ColdfusionDesigns »

Trinity is a expensive paperweight until an update fixes the problem. I can log or create layout PIDs and it freezes still with the latest updates.

That's great I'm searching here on my tablet while I am uploading updates and my new custom tune on my PC, then I read this after the updates start. I was having issues before with my logs freezing as well with 1r10d iirc, I erased the injector PID and all was well. I just hope that 1r10g doesn't mess up my PID layouts and freeze during logs. I also noticed that when monitoring my PIDs while driving I will get a halt monitoring message. This really sucks bc this "freezing" issue has been going on for a while and still no fix after 3-4 version updates.....

1r10g halt monitoring and unable to log.. Must log using lap

Post by ColdfusionDesigns »

If you have a laptop then you can log all you want without it freezing so it must be the pids on the tuner that has the issues. I logged 2 hours of driving with no hault monitoring or any issues logging realtime with the dataviewer. It has to be something in the programming of the PIDs in the crom. Works flawless via USB to PC dataviewer with any pids though so if you need to log anything you can do it that way until they fix the issues in 1r10g. Guess its just a waiting game for now if you do not have a laptop to log with.

It seems like every so often they change the PID programming around so my saved layouts dont always work with update croms. I end up deleting all my layouts and re-make them.

Well sure enough after installing updates and loading my new tune, about a mile down the road it completely froze up. Kinda sucks I have to hook my laptop up to record logs, I mean I paid quite a bit of money for the features of the trinity and the ones I need don't work.

Do you just connect to the laptop and open DS data viewer. Is there a way to create a PID list and record with the data viewer software? Thanks for the response.

Yes just use the data viewer and real time log. It should let you select all the PIDs you want. Plug in the trinity first to the car then when it boots up open the data viewer on the computer and then connect the usb cable to it. It should auto detect. Start the car and then go toFile and down to Real Time Data Mode. It should bring up a complete list of PIDs the car supports and select what you need. After you get what you want selected its a good idea to save your dashboard so up at the top you should see dashboard in the date viewer and save your layout dashboard. Oh under edit you can choose to select to add a tab of guages or charts too if you want gauges. Rememer to save the dashboard layout though if you want to access it immediately the next time you log. Here lately I have enjoyed using the dataviewer software bc I can log more PIDs at once without it slowing down the trinity. Plus seeing it visually how things work like timing or whatever gives me a better idea. Remember to keep your eyes on the road! Haha! Have fun logging.
