2014 Jeep SRT

Post by ronaldjfletcher »

I asked about this working for a 2014 Jeep SRT and was told no problem it will work just fine.

I first saved my org tune as it told me too, then it failed on diablo tune (got stuck, display frozen), then it to failed restore and fails to even start up now.

Any suggestions besides having it towed to the dealer and having them reset my SRT so I can at least drive it? I wonder if I will be loosing my warranty over this, I have 251 miles on this SRT???

I have a 2012 Jeep SRT and it did the same darn thing. I was told this would work with no problems as well.

I even updated the darn thing before I started to run the tune.

I plugged it in - chose the Diablo Tune - it went all the way through till it was backing up the original and then gave me an ECU read error code. Now I don't have a clue what it has done to my Jeep - because it did not back anything up & THE TUNER WILL NO LONGER POWER ON WHEN I PLUG IT INTO THE VEHICLE.

When you go under to delete the vehicle it shows there.

If you go to the vehicle info it gives me an error message of (UNABLE TO DETERMINE VIN & CALIBRATION ID. USING LAST VEHICLE INFO)

If this will not power on through the OBD2 Cable - How do we get this to power on & call you?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! (I DON'T WANT TO HAVE THIS TOWED TO MY DEALER TO RESET IT)

:crashing: I AM ALSO WONDERING IF I AM GOING TO LOSE THE 100K WARRANTY - I PAID A TON EXTRA FOR _ FOR DOING THIS!!!!

SOunds like a lot of SRT8 jeeps with the latest update are getting the failed to backup original like my other post....is there any resolution to this? I provided my XML file from my tuner that was previously working fine in a separate thread.
